I have been seeing so much YouTube and Instagram content about getting cosy for autumn already! It’s literally the fifth day of September and we are experiencing a heatwave here in the UK so it still feels very much like summer. Nonetheless, I have composed a list of seasonal activities for your future reference. Next time you have a free evening or weekend and want to get in the spooky spirit come back and have a peruse - I guarantee there is something for everyone! 

  • Visit an orchard
  • Look at pumpkins (maybe carve one)
  • Go to a farmer’s market
  • Attend a fright night
  • Go for a leaf-peeping walk or drive
  • Bake muffins
  • Redecorate for the new season
  • Deep clean your living spaces
  • Make a bonfire (safely)
  • Perform a moon ritual
  • Enjoy a seasonal coffee
  • Host a vampire filmathon
  • Picnic with flasks of warm soup and baked bread
  • Drink warm cider
  • Try something pumpkin spice or cinnamon flavour
  • Do an autumnal photoshoot
  • Cook a warming one-pot dish
  • Read a classic novel
  • Visit ruins
